Many of patients complain about the problems associated with progressive lenses, no-line bifocals that correct for both distance and presbyopia – the inability to focus on near objects that affects just about everyone over 40. While progressives can produce distortion, dizziness and restrict your field of vision, emPower! solves this problem by allowing the user to turn the reading zone on and off as needed. Using LCD technology, the user can tap the frame to turn the reading zone on or off, or activate an accelerometer to trigger the change with a tilt of the head.
